É Tudo Verdade / It’s All True, in partnership with Spcine, presents a masterclass with filmmaker Jorge Bodanzky at Centro Cultural São Paulo, which will also host a screening of his film A Restless Gaze: The Cinema of Jorge Bodanzky (2025), co-directed with Liliane Maia.

The recovery of a 1973 film when, at the invita- tion of a German TV channel, Jorge Bodanzky documented the construction of Humboldt University in Mato Grosso, in the midst of the dictatorship.

Jorge Bodanzky

Is a Brazilian filmmaker, photographer and documentarian, born in São Paulo in 1942. His work explores the relationship between society, politics and territory, especially in the Amazon. Over more than five decades, he has made films and photographic essays that are internationally recognized. A Restless Gaze: The Cinema of Jorge Bodanzky (2025) had its world premiere in the Brazilian Competition of the 30th É Tudo Verdade / It’s All True.
