The recovery of a 1973 film when, at the invitation of a German TV channel, Jorge Bodanzky docu-
mented the construction of Humboldt University in Mato Grosso, in the midst of the dictator
ship. On a flight over the surrounding area, in the middle of the forest, he saw an intriguing image: a taba with Indigenous people trying to hit the aeroplane with arrows. This is the starting point for the filmmaker to revisit, without a script and half a century later, his historical relationship with the Amazon and the story behind this image, in a spontaneous and intimate approach.
