The nonlinear, time-transcending journey of Fernando Coni Campos, one of the leading artists and storytellers of Brazilian cinema. Author of award-winning films such as Viagem ao Fim do Mundo (1968), Ladrões de Cinema (1977) and O Mágico e o Delegado (1983), Coni Campos possessed the gift of lucid dreaming. Like a manual for the perplexed of sorts, this film seeks to unravel the thinking embedded in his films, poems, and the reflections he developed around artistic creation and cinema. As Coni Campos used to say, “cinema is the art of escaping censorship, whether political, economic, or social.”
