The film takes us inside the Retiro dos Artistas, a century-old institution and a cultural landmark in Rio de Janeiro dedicated to welcoming aging artists. With a poetic, intimate perspective on its current residents, it reflects on the cycle of life and the place of art in Brazil. Through each person’s story, the documentary explores how art and life intertwine, with memory as a central thread in its narrative.
