A travel diary of a long journey through the Pampas on the trail of Guilhermo Enrique Hudson, also known as William Henry Hudson. A mysterious figure, full of contradictions, an Argentinian gaucho who became an English writer, Hudson fought in the army against the “savages“, but also defended them. He wrote obsessively about his homeland, but never went back. In the twists and turns of the road, a mixture of documentary speculation, Argentinian history, personal memory and dreams emerges.
