On September 6, 2021, private security guards burned a Guarani Kaiowá House, in Tekoha Ava’te, in a restoration area, at the Dourados Reserve (Mato Grosso do Sul State, Brazil). The action was recorded on video, in one single shot that lasts 2’52’’ and four frames, by the Guarani Kaiowá people. In the traditional knowledge of the Guarani Kaiowá, Tekoha is the definition of indigenous land, ethnic and vital territory—a place where one is.
