A contemporary panorama about homicides practiced by the police against civilians in Rio de Janeiro, in situations initially classified as self-defence. The victims of murder are accused of being drug dealers and having exchanged gun shots with the police. However, the police report is put in check by the appearance of videos and by the struggle of mothers who try to prove the innocence of their children. The film depict the clash of versions in the trial of cases in the Courts of the Jury and the police investigation’s backstage. The State Parliamentary commission of Inquiry set up to investigate the high death rate due to police action in Rio de Janeiro.
