    Robert Greene
On July 15, 1974, Christine Chubbuck, a journalist of a TV station from Sarasota (Florida) entered the studio to present her program about local issues as usual. All of a sudden, she pulled out a .38 caliber revolver from a paper bag and shot herself live, shocking everyone. More than 40 years later people are still speculating the reasons behind this act. On this film, the actress Kate Lyn Sheil (from “House of Cards”) stood up to the task of playing the reporter, moved to the city and went to the places she used to hang. The idea is not only to reconstruct a trajectory marked by depression, but also to explore the limits of staging and spectacle.
