    Diretor Ricardo Calil
This documentary tells the story of homeless people, African refugees and Latin-American immigrants who occupy a building which used to be a cinema in the Center of São Paulo, and the artistic process that has transformed them into movie stars. The film crew reopened the projection room and projected movies that had been screened there 60 years previously, including “La Grande Illusion” (1937), by Jean Renoir, and “Sawdust and Tinsel” (1953), by Ingmar Bergman. The building’s inhabitants took part in a theater workshop and, as actors, recreated scenes from these classics.
